My travel diaries

Let’s trade the paddle against a pencil

Drifting along the water, stories, pictures, interviews & videos to move you, to make you dream, to inspire you and also to give you tons of information.

Drifting along the words: an heading signed Emmanuelle.
When I annouced to my sister that I was planning a trip around the world, that I was going to write a blog… She offers to find for each country I will go, a writer and a book extract telling about the author experience in this country. She told me:”This will be my contribution as a litterature lover to you journey around the world”.

Come with me to discover the hidden face of Oahu: The Windward Coast – on the East side of the Island, far from the Honolulu’s bulidibgs and the tourist crowd of Waikiki.
Direction Kaneohe and Kailua : 2 beaches towns with a peticular atmosphere where the beauty of the bays and beaches are just exceptional.  Here, the word post card  gets its real meaning.

January-February 2020

On my agenda: Mexico City, San Miguel de Allende, Puerto Vallarta, the Mayan sites of Yucatan, Tulum, paddle board on the Cenotes … that was on paper. But in March 2020, the Covid 19 raged and gradually invaded and paralyzed the whole earth. Taking a bus or a plane, no thanks, I made the decision to stop in San Miguel de Allende and put my world tour on pause …
So I’m going to share with you my daily life in Mexico during this period of confinement and uncertainty.
